I recently tried Jennifer Dontz' fondant recipe using Pettinice. I didn't really love the flavor and it was a little soft to cover cakes with, although I love the way it models so I may continue to use it for that purpose!
Can those of you that use Fondx chime in on the difference between the two? I'm looking for a fondant that is able to hold up to heat/humidity. I can get Fondx for about $4.19/lb and the Pettinice is about $4.93/lb.
I should add, I did look through the old threads but was wondering if anyone has compared the texture recently?
