AI'm wondering what the longest amount of time anyone has frozen a fondant covered cake? Of course I have 2 friends birthdays this weekend and I want to get both cakes done in time. I've never put a fondant covered cake in the freezer for more than a couple of hours. I know that condensation and decorative elements tend to slide when defrosting. One of the cakes is quite involved and of I can frost, cover them in fondant and freeze then take out 24-48 hours later to decorate it would be helpful.
Any suggestions? Horror or success stories to share?
