I am making a cake for my granddaughter who is going to Australia as a student ambassador.  I thought I would make a suitcase but wanted to put some things from Australia on it.  Any suggestions?

I'm not from Australia, but when I think of Australia, all I can think of is sun, snakes, spiders and beer!

So how about putting a bottle of sunblock, a vial of anti-venom and some "tinnies" in the suitcase?

LOL!! I think this is most peoples impression of us Aussies! :D How about some kangaroos and koala's (even though its pretty rare to actually see a koala out in the wild...). Vegemite of course, haha. Some native Aussie flowers like the Wattle and Banksia. Sheep and tin shacks icon_cool.gif Floods and bushfires haha.

Great barrier reef, Uluru, Mt Warning, Parliament House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Sydney traffic jams icon_rolleyes.gif What were those old stickers that used to get stuck to suitcases showing all the places you've been?? (I'm showing my youth here lol...) Maybe a bunch of them on the suitcase?

I like the idea of the koalas and kangaroos because we ride them to work and all lol
What about some tim tams or lamingtons, or pavlova... I love to eat all of them.
Or Ayres Rock or the sydney harbour bridge, we don't really have any big landmarks in melbourne...just a river and a big bay.
You could do like a map as well!
