AI am making jam and strawberry layerd buttercream cake two tier cake and worried how to stack it from ₪σƬ falling off becourse off weight PLξ∕̴Ɩsξ help

Make sure you support it! your top tier needs a cardboard or cake plate that is the same size as the cake, then you put your dowels into the bottom tier. Make sure to trim them flush with the height of your bottom cake. Then your top tier will set on top of the dowels and be supported. 

 When I have a runny filling or when I do any round or square cake that has the two halves i will make a little well in the bottom one, start about a 1/2" in from the side and cut out a bit of cake then fill that in with your filling  and place the top cake on and frost it up. Then there wont be any sliding around.
