I just started doing fondant/carved cakes and am having trouble coming up with an idea on how to add some bling and glitter to this. Anyone have any suggestions?

AWhat about a dry dusting of super pearl dust? Or painting some silver outlining the pink stripes (a fair bit of work of course), or attaching some of that bling "ribbon" at the base of the cake?

I finally just sucked it up and went to Michael's, again and found some of the bling ribbon for the bottom of the cake. I was putting it on when I got the notification of you replying. I was going to buy some shimmer dust but decided not to.

I also bought the cupcake charms from the Duff line but don't really like them. Here's the final product.

AThat definitely helps with the bling factor, good choice!

AI like it. My first thought was Wilton spray silver to add some shadowing to make it pop a little more. I like the added bling.
