ACan you refrigerate royal icing and when it taken Out of the frig will it run or melt? I need it for stencil work and a wedding cake Thank you Toni

No.  Once Royal dries it won't run.  Sometimes the moisture from the refridgerator/sweating can make an 'un-adhered' piece fall off, but that's usually an easy fix.

Hopefully I didn't misunderstand this question!  Don't refridgerate before it's on the cake!  :-)

If you make it ahead of time, you can refrigerate and then just whip it up/beat it when you take it out and before you use it if its not on the cake yet of course. You might need to add a spritz or two of water from a spray bottle to get it back to piping consistancy and put plastic wrap against the top of the icing to avoid a crust forming (cos you cant beat that into the rest of it).

AThank you I want to put it on a wedding cake then refrigerate it then bring it to the wedding
