I've been making cakes for friends and family for a while now and want to turn it into a business from home to start with. I just don't know where to begin. Do I need to buy a whole new kitchen? Do I need to make sure nobody else has chosen the same name for their cake business? If anyone has any tips of advice i would be very grateful.

Thanks

Stacey

AI'm not sure about the specifics of health inspections and registering business names in the UK, but I wrote an article about starting a business that should give you some high-level starting points.
