Hi

I have been playing with some embossing mats and stencils this weekend and have a question.  I used a very light spray of Bake Easy - non stick spray on the embossing mat and stencil before applying the fondant, however this caused the fondant to be sticky and not dry hard.

Wondering what the best method is so that the mat/stencil doesn't stick to the fondant and the fondant dries hard as it should?

Thanks!

I  roll the fondant to thicknes desire and afterwards apply corn starch or powder sugar  with a make up brush             (just for this) this prevents the stencil from sticking to fondant.

Hope this helps!
