AI made a sheet cake go cart cake and the center fondant is cracking. The cake is so heavy. Any ideas? I was going to put another board under and lever one side up a little to keep the fondant from cracking. OMG it was a nightmare to do. Never again!
ASheet cakes or long cakes do that unless you have the right thickness of board. Each time you lift or move the cake, it can sag a bit in the middle causing stress & cracks. Use a second board under there,
