AHow do I (or is it even possible) make fondant look like a newspaper? Is it possible to do transfers? I've never really worked with fondant but for a birthday cake I'm needing to make the icing looked like a typed newspaper, but I do not have an edible printer. Help please! If this is possible!!;-)

I'm sorry but if you dont have an edible image printer, the only other way would be to hand pipe all the letters, lines, etc. that are on a newspaper. Here are some examples I found:

AI really like my Canon. I got one that accommodates the 15 x 17" frosting sheets so I can print large items.

I have also heard good things of Epson.

I recommend checking to see what printers are on sale & cross reference with edible print cartridges.

Also, Icing Images sells printers & ink.

If you have cake supply  stores around some will print edible images for you!

Our local Carrs/Safeway prints the edible pics for me every time I need them.  They are a little pricey (@ $20 for 8"x10").  Over a period of time, I am thinking I would be better off buying a printer to do it myself,
