I've bought some white ready rolled white icing and I want to paint it green. Will it be all right to use food colouring.

AWhat is "ready rolled"? I'm curious because today I saw fondant that was already rolled out into about 9" rounds, I've never seen this before! It was thick so it would need to be roiled thinner but I was wondering about the quality, taste...also how well it would color. I'm expected to use it at a market I was just hired at and it scares me!

AI'm going to assume that you're talking about fondant. If that's the case the answer is yes; use gel colors.

AI'm sorry. You said paint it green; not color it green. Ifyou're hand painting it use gel colors. If you're air brushing use air brush colors.

I found some green gel at tesco. I'll go with the gel because I don't know anything about air brushing or where to buy it from. I'm pretty new at this thanks for your help.
