Im  going to   attempt  my first topsy  turvey  cake.Im  using  a DH  mix...Thinking  of  folowling  the pound cake recipe on the side of box....Will  that  be sturdy enough????

It doesn't need to be pound cake unless that is what you prefer.  Your usual recipe will be sturdy enough, because your support system will support the  layers.  The cake itself does not support the weight.

I use whatever recipe I like, then make sure I lather it up good with ganache! thumbs_up.gif
