I am in search of a good guava filling for cupcakes. Does anyone have any suggestions???
I've only done my one way so don't know if this will help.
I use either fresh fruit or canned, smash it up like smashing bananas and mix it with my Pastry Pride (imitaiton whip cream base) Add a little ps to taste.
There is also guava flavor if the fruit is not available.
My dad is a guava lover and he loves it when I put this on WASC cake or cupcakes.
AI use "Hawaiian Sun's guava jam available on Amazon. Add to your SMBC or just use alone as a filling. I also use LorAnn Oil Guava it IS to die for honestly smell and taste both, perfection, Hawaiian Heaven. I wish they would make a Lilikoi (passion fruit) flavor.
