Hello all,

I'm on the lookout for a fondant that's not TOO sweet.  I heard of a fondant that uses a merainge base... or something along those lines.  I've MMF once and I found that it was REALLY sweet ( a bit too sweet actually).

I would like a recipie that dosen't use too many "strange" ingredients (they tend to be really expensive), however if that is the only way I'll get some quality fondant then I'll probably use them.

Thank you for all your help,

carma massa ticino tropic isn't as sweet as other brands of fondant but it's pricey.

I think any fondant that you're going to make yourself is going to be pretty sweet.

Carma Massa is your best bet, in my opinion, for a good tasting fondant that isn't overly sweet. It's also a dream to work with, but like cakefat said, it's pricey.

I can't handle MMF personally, makes my teeth hurt it's so sweet, lol.
