Cake was delicious, beautiful crumb, loved it EXCEPT it was drier than an Arizona desert. I think the amount of time to cook was to long (will adjust) and can sour cream be added to make it more moist. If yes how much? Thanks. Here is the recipe.
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups cake flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/4 cups milk
350 for 45-50 minutes
