Has anyone ever mixed two colors of satin ice?  I need to make  a light pink or rose color but I am afraid of over mixing and messing everything up?  Its to expensive just to throw away.

AYes, I have. I've mixed red & white to make pink.

I do it all the time , I refuse to buy the pastel colours when I can just add a dash of the brighter ones to make them.  I actually use a cheaper fondant to add the colours to as Satin Ice is rather expensive and I hate covering anything with it straight.

Thanks DeliciousDesserts, I will need to go get white but I will try it.

Chellescakes do you think it would be ok to add Wilton fondant to my Satin Ice.  I am just afraid of over mixing and making a mess.

Yes, you can mix Wilton with Satin Ice.  You'll get a product that tastes great and is very easy to use.
