at Hobby Lobby. They're 30% off. I haven't seen those suckers on sale in a LONG time, so for folks who usually stock up on the sale...

Thanks for the tip! I don't like paying $6 a board.

AWhat is a decent price for these? I came across some at Walmart yesterday for just under $4 (for a piece about the size of a sheet of poster board). Cheap?

How thick was it? If it was 1/2" thick, I'd say that's a great price.

I went to Hobby Lobby online ordering website.  Found board but not 30% off, also it did not state thickness of the board.  Called 800# person not very helpful.

Ahttp://www.foamcoreheaven.com/whitefoamcore.html This place has foam core on sale. A 10 pack of 1/2" (20x30) is about $44. I have never ordered from them before, so I don't know about the shipping charges.

AJust looked at my receipt. The 3/16" board is 50% off $2.49, the 1/2" board is 30% off $5 .99 both are poster board size.

AMaybe it's in stores only? You could print out their weekly sales ad from their site to see what's on sale in your area.

In Charleston, SC we do not have a Hobby Lobby store. We only have a Micheal's and AC Moore and they do not carry hardly anything!!! If I want something, I have to order on line!! Oh well, when I go to Florida in August hopefully, I will find better stores to shop at. I would absolutely love going into a cake store supply with loads of cake stuff!!! I would be like a kid in a candy store and probably spend hours just looking!! lol!!!

Ah, good question.  I am not 100% sure, but I think it was 1/4" thick.  Definitely somewhere thinner than 1/2" though.
