AI volunteered to make a cake for a spring festival at my sons preschool. It's for a cake raffle. I can make anything. Isn't that the hardest sometimes? I have a million cakes I've wanted to try and now I can't decide on one! What should I make? Round, square, tall, short, flowers, fondant, that damn buttercream petal cake? :D The festival is in 2 weeks. After May Day and Mother's Day, so those themes are kind of out. I am doing a ton of other cookies and baked goods for the bake sale, so I want to be kind of simple, but impressive enough that people will want to buy a ticket to win it! I was thinking maybe daffodils. Or ladybugs. Or bees. Or....help!

AThe bugs are a cute idea. All kids will love it, even boys, so more people will want to buy a chance.
