I need to bake a pound cake receipe in a 1/4 sheet pan to make a cross communion cake this weekend and I don't want it to come dry.

ACan't really answer that question; every oven is different. Just bake until it tests done. It should spring back when lightly touched and/or a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out mostly clean.
