A[IMG][/IMG] Made this for my sister in laws baby shower and yes it is my first time ever working with fondant. And its homemade MMF.
OK second pic didn't show for some reason.
Way to go!!
It looks awesome...love the camo pattern, and the blue trim is a great touch!!
AThank you so very much I worked really hard to get this to come out right. Good news is I already sold my first cake and working on a second I'll know tomorrow if I have my second sell all within a weeks time. But I have to say I have the market cornered in this area because there is no bakeries within a 30 min plus drive. My family has always told me I should of went to culinary school but due to having babies in my early 20s was never able to.
Best of luck...I hope everything works out!!
That turned out really cute! I love the camo as well...although from the first pic, I thought it was a baby belly in bondage..lol
AI had planned for it to b a dress but my plate wasn't big enough so I just made it work with what I had.
AOh and thanks you have to excuse me I'm scatter brained right now its been a very long day first baby shower hosting then my little cousins birthday party. My cake was a huge hit everyone loved it.
I'm curious how you did the camo...care to share??
AI tore my fondant into small pieces laid them out in somewhat of a pattern then just rolled it till it all stuck together
