AI have a customer with a retail store front who would like a dummy graduation cake and some photos. I have a lot of new ideas for this year and don't really have the use for more than s couple display cakes. Any ideas on how to redo it multiple times without ruining the styrofoam and keeping it easy to work with?
ACover the dummy with plastic wrap. When you're ready to redo it, simply take everything off and rewrap with new plastic wrap.

ditto! LOL We have to change our display case every month and I use dummys wrapped in the plastic wrap. Just cut it off and trash the icing-easy clean up! =-)
AEvery time I cover a dummy in plastic wrap, I get some inevitable wrinkles that show through in the fondant. Try just a coating of shortening on the dummy to fill in cracks, and wrap it. I just broke down a year old dummy with that method and the fondant broke right off in big chunks, super easy.
Glad I found this, need to work on some dummies. Thank you
