... for the life of me, I cannot think of what technique to use to duplicate the buds. It almost appears to be some type of star tip, airbrushed, and sprinkled wit something or an orangish tint.

Help!

Ummmmm, not that I'm an expert or anything, but that's just the real deal. Wow. Ok, I'm outta here.tapedshut.gif

Also no expert, but I'd say that was NOT an iced cake.  At least not the outside, anyway.  Goodness knows what's behind all the "decor".

Brownies, maybe...?  icon_surprised.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

If you wanted to replicate that, I guess you could use a variety of star and leaf tips to get the same effect, then paint on the colour variations.

LOL! You know that old rule that says you shouldnt use your own stash for persoanl enjoyment...so i doubt they'd fork any over for me to use.  And this cake is for a father who used to partake in the inhaling of the mellow fellow.

At first I thought that it was the real deal, but its perfectly cylinder, so most likely it is a cake. And I too thought that it was a combination of the star and leaf tip. I'll give it a test run and see if that'll do.

AZCouture Posted 1 May 2013 , 7:32pm

AI'm sure it's a cake, underneath the interesting "icing".

TheCakeDude Posted 2 May 2013 , 2:11pm

AHahaha that's hilarious!!! Definitely real ganja....I would guess on a toilet paper roll covered in something... A stoner could never ice a cake that straight! :)

Merilwen Posted 2 May 2013 , 7:10pm

Adefinitely looks like a star tip to me, with something green sprinkled in for texture

are you going to use the storage bowl lid as a platter lol :-P

motherofgrace Posted 2 May 2013 , 7:52pm

ya thats green icing with real bud lol, Good luck!

chocaholikk Posted 4 May 2013 , 8:52am

AOMG! looks veeeeery real! Good luck in making this cake

cazza1 Posted 4 May 2013 , 12:38pm

Think the 'icing' would be more use inside the cake!

AThis is a little late but .. That's real marijuana, all of it. No cake. Experienced professional here. It's a very complex plant, it can be shaped many different ways, with pressure. The crystals on the plant are sticky. If you touch a growing plant, you would see. Soo sticky. This is a joke pic, as in "a stoner would love this kind of cake." Cause in realty street value that would be about $400-$600. Lol :) just wanted to put some input in! It would probably be impossible to replicate marijuana with cake. It's a weird hairy sticky plant .. Definitely wouldn't be realistic out of cake lol

For the border trim you could roll up your bail money and attach with RI.
