hi, i am making my father a boob cake for his 50th birthday, id like to make the bra on my boob with fondant then cover that with leopard print sugar sheets. how would i attach them? and are sugar sheets easy or hard to work with? TIA xx
ASugar sheets can be applied with any liquid. Wilton has edible glue but you really don't need it. Water worked well for me.
I've used the sugar sheets quite often and I am not sure how well they will mold to a rounded shape such as a bra cup. They work excellent on flat areas. They are not very flexible like fondant is. My suggestion would be to draw and color spots onto a sugar sheet, then cut them out and use a tiny bit of water to glue them onto the bra cups.
I strongly suggest rolling out the fondant, turning it over to the "sticky" side, applying the sugar sheet to it and then cutting out the cup shapes. The icing sheet will adhere very well to the freshly rolled fondant's sticky side and this will allow it to curve nicely.
AThank you for your suggestions. ill post a pic n let you know what mehood worked for me :p wish me luck
