I'm usually just a lurker here.   I love the wealth of information you all share so freely!  Has anyone made or seen here a soft-sided tackle box cake?  The hard-plastic ones are in great supply, but I can't find a soft one. Something like this.  Any ideas?

It looks like a diaper bag.

I would think you would follow the same procedure. A stack of at least 3 layer could be four layers it depends on hight that you would like to have. If you make it short you will not need any support. The rest is just decoration.

I hope one of these links helps you!
