It's a sheet cake and will be chilled overnight, mid 60's from western NJ to Queens, is this a good idea? Hoping the neighbor will have a big enough cooler. . .
Thank you Ella! Did you box it or transport it any special way? Any condensation issues?
I had the smaller tiers in boxes, but I stacked the 14 and the 12 ahead. I put a non skid mat underneath and transported it in the trunk. The trip was around 3 hours and it was hot outside. The problems occurred when we hit the real AZ heat. But you shouldn't have that problem.
Jen
I had a client have to pick up their wedding cake and I had them pack the outer box with dry ice. I also use the Cake Stacker's system and it arrived fine. This was in the summer in Michigan going about 55 miles. They
were going to put the topper on at the venue. Italian Meringue Buttercream all the way.
