Hi!  For a cheap but easy way to make perfectly round macarons, print a couple of sheets of paper with circles printed on them, spaced out.  Place this under your parchment paper on your cookie sheet, and pipe your macarons.  Pull out the circle sheets after the macarons have set up, but before you bake them.

Thanks!  I can't claim credit for coming up with this - just passing on another person's great idea!  It does work well, though!

OP it's macarons, pronounced like macaroni without the i at the end.  I just wanted to correct the spelling so if you do a Google search you will get accurate results.  The book Mad About Macarons by Jill Colonna is a great book.
