AHi all! I'm making red velvet cupcakes for a wedding, but want to avoid cream cheese frosting because they will be out for at least 4 hours. Would SMBC taste OK instead!

AHello, Yes, I don't see why it won't. I have used ganache on red velvet before, came out great!

definitely yummy! not everyone likes the tartness of cream cheese. SMBC will be a good frosting for your RV

AI tried this combination in preparation for a wedding and I did not care for it at all. To me, red velvet is such a meh flavor that it needs an aggressive icing. So while I decorated the other two tiers of the cake with SMBC, I went with Vanilla Bean American Buttercream for the red velvet tier.
