I'm working with fondant for the first time today. I made MMF for cupcakes. When I roll it out should I grease my counter top first or sprinkle corn starch? or something else? thanks!

Hi, Usually I corn starch the counter but one day I ran out. So, I greased the counter instead....I will never go back. Much easier and less messy. Hope this helps, good luck!

I do both, depends on whether i'm working with dark colour or light coloured fondant, but must admit I prefer the greasing of counter :)

AI live in Charleston where the humidity is very high. I use cornstarch.
