I'm making a pretty tall baby shower cake in a couple weeks and am trying to figure out the best way to cover it with mmf.

The tier I'm concerned about is the second tier. The bottom will be 2 - 10" round and the top tier will be 4 - 8" rounds. I want that top layer to be seamless so I'm wondering, can I use one piece of fondant to cover a tall cake like that or will it be too heavy and tear?

Thanks for your opinions! :)
