AI am planning a 3 tier round cake and am thinking of using fondant to cover each tier. I was thinking if it would be better it use fondant to cut shapes out to decorate the tiers, or to buy some cake stencils and use buttercream to decorate the sides? Also I need to think of some cake and buttercream flavours that go well together to create the layers of the tiers. Any ideas? :)
