I brushed some pearl dust on a large bow.  It is very splotchy and uneven looking.  Just like on flowers it settled in the folds and I wanted that, but what I did not want was splotches on the flatter spots.  I assume it stuck more in spots I had touched or messed with more than others.  The knot in the center for example.  Is there any way to even it out?  Steam it?  Paint over it with vodka?  I don't want to end up with more issues than I already have.  The cake is for a shower tomorrow.
