I haver read old threads and now looking for new advice. I am making a graduation cake to take to Miami on airplane. Staying in hotel.Arrive on Wed. night, graduation Friday night. I would like to make a chocolate layer cake covered in ganache and then fondant on top, with some fondant decorations, thinking that would be smarter than a buttercream cake. Any suggestions? Round, square, sheet? Pack in box with foam somehow? How? Thank you very much. This is a first time for me.
