I made the MMF on Monday, wrapped it up and put in ziploc bag to store just like the instructions said. I've used some of it and it was fine, and even working with it while it's white it's not sticky.

Then I colored a portion of it teal to match my BC icing, and it got super sticky! I was going to make fondant roses for my cake but now it seems like I can't work with it, it keep sticking!

I put crisco on my hands, then tried more icing sugar. Nothing is helping. ANDDDD to top it all of, I broke the freaking cake !!! I'm ready to quit this whole idea that I can make nice cakes :( and just go back to my regular baking style, slapping on the frosting with a spatula :(

Hi,

I saw a tutorial where they recommend to add the color to the melted marshmallow while adding the powdered sugar.

Hope this helps and you don't quit, I'm sure it going to look great.

Best,

Ana
