AI'm putting sugarveil lace on a cake covered with fondant. First time for me, any tips for putting it on? Any do's & dont's? How does it attach to the fondant? Just with water? And do I put the water on the fondant or the backside of the Sugarveil?

AHi Sugarmama,

Just use the slightest amount of moisture on a fingertip on a few small areas on the back of the lace, and it will stick perfectly. ATagging onto this post, I have a package of sugar veil that I've never used because I have had no use for the lace mold they sell with it. (Way too fussy and "doily" looking for me.) ;) Is there anything I should know to try using it with small lace molds? Thanks!
