ASo.. I mixed up some gumpaste mix yesterday (CK) I let it sit for 24 hours... And now I'm ready to try to make some mini-small bows. I started off with just the gumpaste then decided to do the 50/50 with fondant (satin ice) I'm having an issue with the paste sticking to my hands. And everything to else. I had my shaker filled with PS on hand, and tried sprinkling my work area with a small amount. But quickly it looked like my 50/50 paste developed elephant skin. Should I have used shortening on my mat?? This looks much easier on YouTube videos!! :( anyone have some gumpaste pointers???

AAlso when I'm using my exacto knife to cut my pieces it's not making clean cuts...

My first bow!! Not horrible, but boy do I need practice! I tried using a textured roller, those aren't jut random lines. And I also tried dusting in a raspberry luster dust.. Smh!! Any pointers will be greatly appreciated...
