How Do I Drape Beads From Top Edging Of Cakes

I am trying to figure out how to drape beads from the top edging of each tier for a wedding cake.  I'm afraid it wont hold up but fall from each tier.  thank you in advance for your help

Run some sort of cake glue (water, royal icing whatever you like to use and depending upon the kind of material you are wanting to stick) diagonally down the cake from the corners you are wanting to drape the beads, and when draping just guide them onto the glue to hold.  Because you're right, without any glue they beads made just fall down to the lower tier and run along it to the other corner rather than draping across.
