ACan you buy a brand new printer designed for normal printing and use it as an edible printer?

ADepends on the printer. Yes some are usable with edible ink. I purchase mine from Edile Images. You can check their website for a list I printers. Most are Epson or Canon

AI've been looking into that and you have to make sure that it's compatible with the edible ink cartridges. I'm pretty sure I read it on the Kopykake website. HTH
