hi i am going to be making a cake for my sister in laws 60th bday and i am doing a vodke bottle like smirnoff. is there anything i could use to do white writing apart from piping royal icing. i want to do the main picture in red and white and i know i can paint the red for majority of it but what about the white writing. can i mix white lustre dust with alcohol and use that?

any help appreciated

You can buy white food coloring and write with that or you can mix white luster dust with alcohol. It is possible that if you write on a dark color that it shines through the white though... Maybe you should try it first on a piece of fondant in the right color to see how it works out?
