Hi, I hope everyone had an amazing Easter.

I have recently tried to use dipping solution to paint large area's on cakes as this dries quicker than vodka.  However when I mix it with the paste ( I have used lots of different brands) it goes stringy and is difficult to paint it evenly onto the cake.  Any advice would be helpful, thanks in advance :0)

i often use air brush color to paint with--it works great with a spirit like vodka

Hope I don't sound stupid, but what is "dipping solution"?

Essentially, its rubbing alcohol and I don't understand why anyone would want to use it on edible portions of a cake when grain alcohol is available.

But that's just me.

Try this link:

Should have known the first link would hit the censor wall.
