do you have an air brush--i'm thinking not

but also you might want to incorporate some cocoa powder brushed in here and there to ancient-ify it maybe

or paint with brown color thinned with water or spirits--test first on scraps

sounds like it's looking good!!!

on the picture thing? you just load it into your computer then see the little icon* next to the arrow on the frame around the 'post a reply' window--hit that and browse your computer for  the picture--it will walk you through it

*if you hover your cursor over it it will say 'insert picture'--it's five over to the left of the smilie face ;)

wow--you are making great progress--yes i'm dying for a picture!!!

no pressure--take your time though--

AI've finished the cake, after a crazy day where my mum came to take my girls out and got a flat tire with them in the car!!! The whole fiasco lost me hours!!! I will post photo tomorrow, I'm worried it doesn't look ruined enough but I'm not sure if there's much I can do now. I don't have time to make a lion tho thank you for the link, what great lions!!! And thank you so much for the advice, help and support!! It's meant so much. Xxx

I'm not sure the last post worked, but this is the finished cake!!! I loved my cobbled stones but I ended up covering most of them up, and I'm not sure it was "ruined" enough but it was a very hard cake!! Made easier with all the help and support!!! Thank you!!

AThank you!!! It was a 21st birthday cake for a girl called Becky as a surprise by her mum, for a fancy dress party. They'd been together as a family and the party had a R&B theme for Rebecca or Becky!!! So everyone was dressing up in r or b, the mum told me she was going as bo peep, the dad as robin hood and the daughter in burlesque!!!! Sounds fun!!! Wish I could be a fly on the wall!!!!!! I've really enjoyed this process with you!! Xxx
