I found this on a website it was by young lady in florida.  I am trying to figure out how the dora was placed inside the cake.  Not sure if it is a full size doll or half doll, description in website doesn't say. I have wilton doll cake pan but not sure who to approach this.

just do surgery on the cake and make a hole big enough for the doll

it's as simple as it seems

the doll will get all messy but that's how it's done

you could wrap the bottom half of the doll with serran wrap that way it doesn't get ruined.

That looks like a full size doll.

I don't use the wilton doll cake pan when I do doll cakes.   I bake a 6/7/8. I take a cookie cutter and cut a circle hole out of each center that is just big enough for the doll to it in.  You have to carve a little.  Then I wrap them insaran....stack the cakes, crumb, stick in the doll, ice, decorate.
