Textured Frosting With Sugar Pearls?

Need some opinions...
I have a client who wants a cake with a textured buttercream, which is a-okay, but she also wants a cascade of sugar pearls. Has anyone done something like this? Is it going to look too busy with everything going on?
I had imagined focusing the most amount of pearls at the top of each tier and then getting more sporadic towards the bottom but not sure if that will mesh will with a horizontal textured look.
Any thoughts are much appreciated!
what kind of horizontal texture?
different sized pearls? how big? different colors?
cascade of pearls--could be real pretty--kind of unusual

EDIT: The second cake down is what I am looking at!!
I am doing something like this - based on the top and third tiers. At least, that is what I know how to do (this is not a cake of mine BTW, just what I could find handily).
I am thinking two different sized pearls, and yes to different colors - white, silver and gold.
that's gonna be beautiful
you can't go wrong with it
larger pearls spilling over each tier fading to smaller or vice versa or going from top to bottom of the whole cake rather than per tier--will be stunning any way you do it i think and it's gonna be fun planning--maybe just pepper different sizes in randomly into a stream of all one size or graduating sizes-- all cool--might need toothpicks to attach some of them? or spaghetti?
and the horizontal texture works with that imo
I will most definitely put something up when it's complete! I think it's gonna be great!
