My mom's retirement party is in 10 days. I volunteered to make the cupcakes.
She absolutely loves the Pumpkin Spice WASC recipe I use. However, that doesn't seem like a "spring" flavor to me.
As of now, I am making Vanilla, Vanilla filled with Raspberry, both with traditional buttercream; Lemon with Whipped Lemon Frosting (some might be filled with raspberry as well)
I need something else. . .
One idea I had was Banana Butterscotch as it doesn't seem quite as "fall-ish".
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions?
Lime. Peach. Pina Colada. Coconut.
Anything that gives you a pastel shade.
Key Lime, Strawberry, Cherry, Melon.
AWww.Cupcakeproject.com has lots of recipes to choose from . I've only tried the ultimate vanilla cupcake off the site but they are to die for
Coconut cake with lime buttercream.
Lemon Cake with coconut buttercream.
AI think you should do a chocolate one because you have a fruit flavor and a vanilla flavor. That way you cover all the bases. Chocolate is always in season, well, except for me since I don't like it haha.
I get a lot of raspberry lemonade orders in the spring.
AHow about lemon cheesecake or one filled with lemon curd or a pound cake one filled with strawberry center
What about black tea cupcakes with honey lemon frosting?
Thanks everyone for the great ideas!!!
I just couldn't make a decision. Not sure I have as of yet either as you share some great thoughts.
