I am trying to help a friend find the impression mat used to create the bottom tier on the cake (below, see closeup). We have both searched far and wide and can't find anything. I think that Marina Sousa may have made the cake, but I can't even confirm that. Has anyone ran across this impression mat in their baking adventures?
Well it's absolutely beautiful and I would also love to know if anyone knows where to get this! :)
Never seen that one but , don't laugh...............have you tried your DIY store, you wouldn't believe all the prints they have in their tile, linoleum, and ceiling tile departments. When you find it, go to Michaels and pick up a package or two of Magic Mold or Wonder Mold, forgot the exact name, but it's a two part molding medium that's food safe, mix both parts together and press onto the item you want to mold. Wait for 30 minutes, peel it off and you're ready. The molding stuff is pretty expensive, about $20 each package, for a large item like that you'll need two. Michaels publishes coupons for 50 per cent off, and you can use JoAnn Fabric coupons at Michaels.
Thanks Denise! I have considered that it might not be an impression mat at all, that it could be wallpaper or any number of textured surfaces. I did some Google image searches of just the cake and the only place I found the cake was on Pinterest, and it seems to be a direct upload (it doesn't link to another site).
AI will love too to know...
The cake is on this page:
A little more than half-way down the page. I don't know if you could get in touch with the poster to find out who made the cake.
I think it's a stamp (or three) or maybe even a wall tile, not an impression mat.

I found that page too. The same poster has posted about 90% of the content on that page, and it all comes from Pinterest, so I don't think that's the original baker, or that they would know anything about it. Thanks to everyone hat took the time to look.
I asked Marina Sousa on the pin she had made of it when she guest pinned for Craftsy, lets see if she responds!
