Im making a football pitch cake. i havent got a rectangle tin so i decided to use a 12" square tin.. any advice on how to use square tins for rectangle cakes? thanks

I would either make two and put them side by side or trim one side

This might be late but for anyone interested
from the 12" square cake, Cut 2inches from one side of the cake and add it to the other end to give you a 14X10 inches rectangular cake.
