Hi all!  I have a customer who wants a square cake, covered in white fondant, and stenciled with black icing. I'm worried the black icing will stain people's teeth?  Am I right?  I was thinking if that was the case I would put a band of black fondant and the stencil on that with white icing. The stencil they want is a Greek key design. Any help/advice you can provide is appreciated,  thanks.

AStart with chocolate and it won't be a problem.

Yes!  It will stain the teeth and the lips, not for long, but long enough to be embarrassed at the party.
