you could wet a leftover scrap of fondant to test and see what happens if it will even out the coloration

 

make a water spot on the scrap, let it dry -- then brush alcohol on it

if that doesn't work then try brushing water on the areas that are not already water marked to see if that helps

 

but be careful!!!!

 

nothing wrong with a few water marks!!

 

you could even try some pearl dust or glitter or something to disguise it--

 

on the seams themselves--you gotta get it before it starts to set up is my experience--i don't know any way to redo them now unless you cover them up with another piece of fondant--but you don't want to play with that area too much either
