The new mom for this baby shower cake says she does not want fruit or chocolate flavors. She also prefers cream cheese frosting. I was thinking caramel flavored white cake with the cream cheese frosting. I picked up LorAnn Oils Creamy Caramel. Problem is I have no idea how much to add to the basic WASC recipe. I'm pretty sure I don't want to sub 1 to 1 with the almond/butter/vanilla extracts, as I have been warned that the LorAnn oils are much more concentrated.
What would you recommend?
What about other flavors?
What about Red Velvet? Would go great with cream cheese icing...
Or spice cake or poppy seed
