AGood advice everyone! You're all experts now!! And yes, the little spike really does work wonders.

I put double sided carpet tape on my SPS plate(s).  It secures the cardboard round that's under your cake to the SPS plate, thus even less chance of movement.

Could you share where you purchase SPS plates and columns? I must have missed it.  Do the wilton white plastic hollow pillars fit plates? Thank you for your post. Very encouraging. :)
