I have a request for this groom's cake but I'm not sure how to make the stamped leather look in the middle. Can anyone help please?

There are a huge array of stencils out there and if you can't get one to match try and get a drawing of it and use a sharp knife to cut around it? FOr the shiny look on the black fondant use confectioners varnish, that works a treat. HOpe that helps

At first, I thought it sort of looked like swirled chocolate. In looking closer, it appears to have a pattern in it. I wonder what it is, too. It's kinda cool.

I thinks its an impression mat. You get loads of different textures.

Thanks! I think I will look for an impression mat to match!

CalJava has the best molds for that design.   I have a few and love them.
